Refund Policy

1. Eligibility for Refunds

✅ You ARE Eligible If:

• You request a refund within 30 days of your first payment
• This is your first subscription to NicheValidator
• You haven't previously received a refund from us
• You haven't violated our Terms of Service

❌ You Are NOT Eligible If:

• More than 30 days have passed since your first payment
• You're requesting a refund for a renewal payment (not your first charge)
• You've already received a refund from us before
• You violated our Terms of Service (fraud, abuse, etc.)
• You're requesting a refund for the affiliate program (separate terms apply)

2. Free Trial Period

All paid plans include a 7-day free trial:

• You won't be charged during the trial period
• Cancel anytime during the trial to avoid charges
• If you cancel during trial, no refund is needed (you weren't charged)
• Trial starts when you subscribe; first payment is due after 7 days

3. How to Request a Refund

Step 1: Contact Support

Email us at support@nichevalidator.com with:

• Your account email address
• Reason for refund (optional but appreciated)
• Subject line: "Refund Request"

Step 2: We Process Your Request

• We'll verify you're within the 30-day window
• We'll ask for brief feedback (optional)
• We'll process your refund within 24-48 hours

Step 3: Receive Your Refund

• Refunds are issued to your original payment method
• Processing time: 5-10 business days (depends on your bank)
• You'll receive an email confirmation once processed
• Your subscription will be canceled automatically

4. What Happens After a Refund

• Your premium access ends immediately
• You revert to the Free plan
• Your data is preserved (niches, opportunities, etc.)
• You can re-subscribe anytime (but won't be eligible for another refund)
• Founding Member status (if applicable) is revoked

5. Special Cases

Beta Founding Members

• 30-day guarantee applies to beta subscriptions too
• If you request a refund, you lose your locked-in $19.99/mo pricing
• Re-subscribing will be at current pricing (may be higher)
• Founding Member badge and perks are permanent only if you stay subscribed

Annual Plans (Future)

Note: We currently only offer monthly plans. If we add annual plans:

• 30-day guarantee will apply to annual plans
• After 30 days, refunds will be prorated for unused months

Affiliate Commissions

• If a referred user requests a refund, your commission is reversed
• This prevents fraud and abuse
• Reversed commissions are deducted from your pending earnings

7. Partial Refunds

We do not offer partial refunds for unused time within a billing period. For example:

• ❌ If you cancel on day 15, you don't get a 50% refund
• ✅ But you keep access until the end of your billing period
• ✅ Unless you request a full refund within 30 days of first payment

8. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

• Unauthorized charges? Email us immediately—we'll investigate and refund if appropriate
• Forgot you subscribed? We'll remind you and process a refund if within 30 days
• Billing error? We'll fix it and adjust your account
• Chargebacks result in immediate account suspension pending investigation

9. Exceptions & Edge Cases

Service Outages

If NicheValidator is down for extended periods (24+ hours), we'll credit your account or offer a prorated refund, even outside the 30-day window.

Bug Bounty Credits

• Free months earned through bug bounty are not refundable
• If you cancel, unused bug bounty credits are forfeited

Promotional Credits

• Credits (like the $25 "first dollar" reward) are not cash-refundable
• They can only be used toward service payments

10. Our Commitment

We want you to succeed. If NicheValidator isn't helping you make progress, we'd rather refund you than keep your money. Here's what we promise:
